This polymer clay tutorial gives detailed instructions on how to make a colorful petroglyph inspired gecko pendant, including instructions to make two different canes: a squared spiral cane and an accented petals cane.  In addition there are instructions on two faux stone techniques - turquoise & sodalite, and instructions on making a custom spiral bail. The diy class also teaches how to create a custom polymer clay tile covered with the canes and faux stone to create this colorful pendant.  It requires basic cane reduction knowledge. The included canes and faux stone techniques are intermediate beginner skill. The tutorial is broken down into 6 how-to chapters - a chapter for the squared spiral cane and the petal cane, a chapter for each faux stone technique, a chapter for the bail, and a chapter for assembling the pendant.  It includes a detailed overview of the basic supplies needed and a resource page with links to various sites for supplies or more information.  The tutorial is 42 pages long and has over 120 large, color pictures!

Enjoy

*NOTE* Many of the canes in my classes are used in various forms in other classes.  The classes are formatted around the overall project and techniques for using canes in your polymer designs.  The canes are tools using in the process and are included for convenience.  Many other free cane tutorials can also be used in my classes.
