SEA TURTLE BOXES

Creating this fun sea turtle box is a student favorite!  Boxes are such fun - not only do they make a wonderful canvas for inlaid cane designs, they also make wonderful gifts.  In this class, I'll show how to create a unique sea turtle box form, create several polymer clay canes and faux turquoise blend, sculpt a simple sea turtle shape, decorate your box with can inlay, and finish your box with my unique faux turquoise technique.  The class can be either one or two days.  In the one day class, we'll make the sea turtle box and show a few simple canes.  More canes will be available for those who want to further embellish their turtles - some free and some for sale.  In the two day class, we'll add more canes and more complex canes.  Both classes include the full handout with detailed instructions on all the canes, sculpting, and finishing so you can feel confident to have the knowledge to not only finish your sea turtle at your pace, but repeat the technique without wondering what you've forgotten.
