This polymer clay tutorial gives detailed instructions on how to make a beautiful pailsey themed slab and use it to create a variety of jewelry.  It includes instructions on how to make eight different canes: two border canes, two different petal canes, a party cane, a fur/down cane, an art deco cane, and an extruded accent cane.  In addition there are instructions for two unique findings to use with your jewelry and instructions on how to create a pendant and three different styles of earrings. The diy class also teaches how to cover a glass ornament with clay and decorate it with canes and the faux mixes to create a wonderful southwestern scene.  It requires basic cane reduction knowledge. The included canes and faux stone techniques are intermediate beginner skill. The tutorial is broken down into 14 how-to chapters - a chapter for each cane, a chapter for the findings, and a chapter for making each piece of jewelry.  It includes a detailed overview of the basic supplies needed and a resource page with links to various sites for supplies or more information.  The tutorial is 128 pages long and has over 300 large, color pictures!

*NOTE* Many of the canes in my classes are used in various forms in other classes.  The classes are formatted around the overall project and techniques for using canes in your polymer designs.  The canes are tools using in the process and are included for convenience.  Many other free cane tutorials can also be used in my classes.
